Vanya Scarf

66 x 7 inch scarf made by John in May 2021 with two Manitoba wool yarns from Longway Homestead and some soft alpaca with a bit of silk and camel that was a gift from Christine’s sister. It took around 7 hours of warping and weaving and stitching. Features twisted fringes made with our amazing new fringe twister from Fibre Artist Supply Co. in Cincinnati.

Named after Ivan “Vanya” Fyodorovich Karamazov from “The Brothers Karamazov” by Fyodor Dostoevsky.

Comes with a Virtute cat toy made of scrap yarn, cotton string, and a tiny bell.
